چکیده

Optimal nutrient management is critical for optimizing flowering, yield, quality and improving soil health. A key approach making chrysanthemum crop cultivation profitable balanced fertigation at the right time. This possible by through drip. The present study was designed in 2019–2021 a model floriculture center, Pantnagar, to investigate response of split application NPK drip on flowering attributes, biochemical activity status chrysanthemum. Plants received with five treatment combinations: T1-NPK @ 100:150:100 kg/ha/year, T2-NPK T3-NPK T4-NPK 75:112.5:75 kg/ha/year T5-NPK vegetative, bud stages. results reveal that plants treated T3 (NPK kg/ha/year) exhibited maximum increases floral diameter (31.45%), number inflorescences per branch (24.44%), inflorescence (15.32–28.44%), weight (24.30%), stem diameter, length, plant (6.16%), hectare (53.46%), chlorophyll content, b total content (40.20%), carotene (69.56%), organic carbon (1.22-fold), available nitrogen (7.46%), phosphorus potassium (1.14-fold) compared control. Conclusively, suggest may improve

Identification of the phenolic components of chrysanthemum flower (Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat)

A standardised profiling method based on liquid chromatography with diode array and electrospray ionisation/mass spectrometry (LC–DAD–ESI/MS) was used to identify 46 flavonoids and 17 caffeic acid derivatives in the aqueous methanol extract of Flos chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat) (Compositae), an important Chinese herb. Fifteen caffeoylquinic acids and 15 flavonoids were positive...

Photoreactions Controlling Flowering of Chrysanthemum morifolium (Ramat. and Hemfl.) Illuminated with Fluorescent Lamps.

Flowering of chrysanthemum plants under short photoperiods, as is well known, is prevented when the plants are illuminated near the middle of the long night. Such illumination inhibits flowering whether it is given continuously or intermittently, and whether it comes from incandescent or from fluorescent lamps. We discovered, however, that fluorescent light applied intermittently (cyclically) t...

Efficient In Vitro Regeneration of Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.) Through Nodal Explant Culture

An efficient in vitro plant regeneration protocol was developed for Chrysanthemum morifolium, an ornamental plant. Nodal segments were used as explants in the present experiment. The explants were cultured onto Murashige & Skoog’s (MS) nutrient medium containing plant growth regulators (cytokinins or auxins) with various combinations and concentrations for the study. Maximum percentage (93.33%)...

Identification of Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) Self-Incompatibility

There has been a heated argument over self-incompatibilityof chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) among chrysanthemum breeders. In order to solve the argument, we investigated pistil receptivity, seed set, and compatible index of 24 chrysanthemum cultivars. It was found that the 24 cultivars averagely had 3.7-36.3 pollen grains germinating on stigmas at 24 hours after self-pollination throu...

The Effects of Nitrogen Fertilizer Sources on Yield and some Quality Attributes of Chrysanthemum morifolium L.

Nitrogen is a crucial nutrient affecting plant growth and development and its addition to the soil (as chemical or organic form) influences plant growth characteristics. One experiment was conducted as a factorial based on RCBD with two Chrysanthemum cultivars (‘Fred’ and ‘Angel’( and two N-fertilizer sources [Urea (750 and 1500 g/ha and Nitroxin 7.5 and 15 L/ha] used as fertigation method besi...
